Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking experienced Disaster Recovery / Grant Management / Public Assistance Consultants to support FEMA PA and related disaster recovery programs. This on‑call, as‑needed role may involve remote, onsite client work or hybrid deployments across the United States, with assignments varying in scope and duration.

You will provide technical guidance, grants management support, and compliance oversight to maximize recovery funding while adhering to applicable laws and program

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of FEMA Public Assistance experience supporting applicants and disaster recovery engagements.
• Knowledge of FEMA PA policy, eligibility requirements, and PAPPG.
• Experience with project formulation, PW development, and grant documentation review.
• Experience responding to RFIs and supporting reimbursement requests.
• Experience with Grants Manager/Grants Portal.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor to applicants throughout the FEMA PA lifecycle.
• Assist with PDA, Recovery Scoping, Damage Inventory, and project formulation.
• Develop FEMA PW and Grants Portal submissions.
• Support Category A-G projects and CEF development.
• Review damages and costs for eligibility and compliance.
• Maintain accurate records in grant management systems.
• Provide updates to leadership on issues, risks, and progress.
