Job summary

The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) in New York City seeks an Analyst/Senior Analyst/Supervising Analyst to support FEMA Public Assistance grants and grant development for disaster recovery. You will work across City agencies, ensuring deadlines, maintaining records, and serving as a resource for federal reimbursement of costs.

Qualifications

• Experience with FEMA Public Assistance Program and Grants Manager preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/spoken communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and motivate others.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and quick to learn new technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop FEMA Public Assistance grants using Grants Portal for multiple City agencies.
• Coordinate with City agencies and Task Forces to meet schedules and deadlines.
• Respond to formal and informal information requests from FEMA and NYS DHSES.
• Monitor grant expenditures and revenues for City agencies.
• Prepare reports on disaster recovery progress and expenditures.
