Job summary
Tetra Tech is seeking experienced Disaster Recovery / Grant Management / Public Assistance Consultants to support FEMA PA programs nationwide. This on-call, as-needed role may involve remote, on-site, or hybrid deployments, with assignments ranging from technical assistance to extended deployments across federal, state, and nonprofit applicants.
As a Disaster Recovery Consultant, you will provide technical expertise, grants management support, and compliance guidance to maximize recovery funding
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years FEMA Public Assistance experience.
- Knowledge of FEMA Public Assistance policy and PAPPG.
- Experience with project formulation, PW development, and grant documentation review.
- Experience responding to RFIs and reimbursement/closeout activities.
- Experience using FEMA Grants Manager and/or Grants Portal.
Responsibilities
- Serve as trusted advisor to applicants through the FEMA Public Assistance lifecycle.
- Assist with all phases of FEMA PA program delivery and project documentation.
- Interpret FEMA policies, regulations, and grant requirements; identify compliance risks.
- Maintain project records and support cost analyses and reimbursement documentation.
- Track milestones, deliverables, and updates to leadership; support capacity-building with partners.
