Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking experienced Disaster Recovery / Grant Management / Public Assistance Consultants to support FEMA PA and other disaster recovery programs across the United States. This is an on-call, as-needed role with deployments that may be remote, onsite, or hybrid depending on project requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of FEMA Public Assistance experience supporting applicants, recipients, subrecipients, FEMA, state agencies, or disaster recovery consulting engagements.
• Knowledge of FEMA PA policy, eligibility requirements, and PAPPG.
• Experience with project formulation, PW development, and grant documentation review.
• Experience responding to RFIs.
• Experience with reimbursement requests and closeout activities.
• Experience using FEMA Grants Manager and/or FEMA Grants Portal.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to applicants through the FEMA Public Assistance grant lifecycle.
• Advocate for applicants while ensuring compliance with FEMA policies and program requirements.
• Educate applicants on eligibility, documentation, funding opportunities, and grant admin.
• Maintain relationships with applicants, federal/state partners, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Provide client service and resolve project-related issues and concerns.
• Support all phases of FEMA Public Assistance program delivery, including PDAs and Recovery Scoping.
