Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking experienced Disaster Recovery / Grant Management / Public Assistance Consultants to support FEMA PA programs across the United States. This on-call role offers remote, onsite, or hybrid work depending on project needs, with assignments ranging from short-term technical support to extended deployments.

You will provide technical expertise, grants management, and compliance guidance to maximize recovery funding.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of FEMA Public Assistance experience
Knowledge of FEMA PA policy, PAPPG
Experience with project formulation and PW development
Experience responding to RFIs
Experience with reimbursement requests and closeout
Experience using FEMA Grants Manager/Portal
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Strong written, verbal, facilitation, and customer service skills
Ability to travel with limited notice
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the United States

Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted advisor to applicants throughout the FEMA Public Assistance grant lifecycle.
Advocate for applicants while ensuring FEMA compliance.
Educate applicants on eligibility, funding opportunities, and grant administration.
Maintain effective relationships with applicants, federal/state partners, contractors, and stakeholders.
Provide client service and resolve project-related issues.
