Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking Disaster Recovery / Grant Management consultants to support FEMA Public Assistance and related programs. You will guide applicants through eligibility, documentation, and reimbursement while ensuring compliance with laws and program requirements.

Roles are on-call and may be remote, onsite, or hybrid across the United States. Travel, deployment as needed, and collaboration with government and nonprofit partners are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years FEMA Public Assistance experience supporting applicants and recovery programs.
• Knowledge of FEMA PA policy, eligibility, PAPPG, and grant documentation.
• Experience with project formulation, PW development, and RFIs.
• Experience with reimbursement requests and grant closeout.
• Experience traveling and working in various deployment modes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor to applicants through FEMA Public Assistance lifecycle.
• Educate applicants on eligibility, funding opportunities, and grant administration.
• Assist with PDAs, Recovery Scoping, Damage Inventory, and project worksheets.
• Support grant administration, cost estimates, compliance reviews, and documentation.
• Track status, maintain records, and communicate progress to leadership.
