Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking an experienced Cost Estimator to join our Disaster Recovery Cadre. This on-call position supports FEMA Public Assistance and other disaster recovery programs by developing accurate, defensible cost estimates for infrastructure restoration and emergency work.

You will evaluate damaged infrastructure, prepare cost analyses for roads, bridges, utilities and buildings, and collaborate with engineers, architects, and program staff to define eligible work.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in construction estimating or related discipline.
• Experience developing conceptual, parametric, and detailed cost estimates for infrastructure or facilities.
• Experience estimating labor, equipment, material, and construction costs.

Responsibilities

• Support FEMA Public Assistance and disaster recovery programs with cost estimating.
• Perform site inspections and assess damages to inform estimates.
• Develop and validate project scopes; prepare defensible cost estimates.
