Job summary

The Salvation Army in Spokane, WA is seeking a Disaster Recovery Case Manager to lead direct case management for disaster survivors and their families. You will supervise staff, map community resources, and build strong partnerships with recovery organizations to support comprehensive recovery plans.

You will handle confidential survivor information, coordinate referrals, and monitor service delivery while advocating for clients to reach self-sufficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or at least three years of relevant case management experience in the social services field.
• Previous disaster recovery experience required.
• Knowledge of social services and local resources with ability to provide referral information to meet individual and family needs

Responsibilities

• Serve as The Salvation Army’s community liaison for survivor resources and recovery services.
• Provides direct supervision, leadership, and oversight to assigned disaster recovery and case management staff.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive map of community resources available to disaster survivors.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and other recovery organizations.
• Manage program data, survivor records, service statistics, and required reports.
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up services for survivors.
• Identify gaps in available services and help develop appropriate resources or partnerships.
• Represent The Salvation Army at community recovery meetings and collaborative events.
