Job summary

Samaritan's Purse in Fullerton, California is seeking a Beneficiary Service Coordinator to join the U.S. Rebuild team. You will assist disaster-affected homeowners, manage eligibility, coordinate background checks, and support intake and screening.

The role requires an Associate degree with 3–5 years related experience, strong Microsoft Office abilities, and excellent communication. You will collaborate with the Office Manager and volunteers to ensure funds are used as required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; 3–5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Highly effective communication and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Interview applicants and gather pertinent background information, including financial history.
• Facilitate background checks and drug screening, if required.
• Take inbound/outbound calls to assist homeowners affected by disaster and support volunteers.
• Procure and use FEMA/insurance funds for home construction, ensuring funds are used as intended.
• Communicate with homeowners and keep them informed of progress.
• Attend local long-term recovery meetings to identify needs and applicants.
• Other duties as assigned.
