Job summary

The American Red Cross in San Juan, Puerto Rico seeks a Community Disaster Program Manager to lead volunteer-driven disaster cycle services across the metro area. You will collaborate with Volunteer Services, mobilize partners, assess readiness, and coordinate resources to support communities before, during, and after disasters.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree, at least five years managing volunteer teams, a valid driver's license, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience building, mobilizing, leading and developing volunteer teams.
• A valid driver's license and good driving record are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a diverse volunteer team responsible for disaster cycle services across the assigned area.
• Coordinate disaster readiness, response, and recovery activities within the region.
• Develop and support disaster leadership volunteers and partner organizations to meet responsibilities.
