Job summary

American Red Cross seeks a Community Disaster Program Manager to lead volunteer programs, build community partnerships, and coordinate disaster readiness and response across the assigned region. The role requires strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with deployment readiness and the ability to work beyond standard hours.

You will engage with diverse communities, supervise volunteers, and collaborate with internal partners to maximize disaster readiness and service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience required.
• Minimum 5 years leading and developing volunteer teams in social services.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mobilize volunteers across the assigned geographic area.
• Collaborate with internal partners to ensure disaster readiness and response readiness.
• Develop partnerships with community organizations and leaders.
• Coordinate disaster relief operations and volunteer activities across the region.
