Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Community Disaster Program Manager in Denver, CO. You will lead and mobilize volunteers, coordinate disaster readiness resources, and engage local partners to strengthen preparedness and response within the community.

You will deploy to disaster relief operations as needed, support regional activities, and ensure readiness of facilities, supplies, and local vendors. A driver’s license and a proven track record in volunteer program leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience in volunteer programs.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a diverse volunteer team across the assigned geographic area.
• Coordinate disaster readiness activities and partnerships to strengthen community resilience.
• Develop and implement disaster cycle services in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Engage communities and partners to prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters.
• Provide leadership and support within a matrix organization to maximize impact.
