Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Disaster Program Delivery Specialist to support FEMA Public Assistance projects. You will collect and review applicant data, coordinate site inspections, and assist with determination memos while liaising with applicants and FEMA teams.

The role requires a U.S. citizen able to obtain a FEMA Badge, strong organizational and communication skills, and willingness to travel up to 100%. Domestic travel is expected as part of the job.

Responsibilities

• Collects, coordinates and/or reviews applicant data to determine eligibility and priority of assignments.
• Supports communication with applicants about status by scheduling meetings and following up on FEMA requests.
• Reviews damage details, scopes of work and costs with applicants and assists with determinations to FEMA.
• May coordinate basic to moderately complex site inspections to validate damage for FEMA Public Assistance grants.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a FEMA Badge, including background investigation for a Public Trust position.
