Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Disaster Program Delivery Specialist to support FEMA Public Assistance projects in Rhode Island. You will collect and review applicant data, coordinate with FEMA and applicants, and participate in the claims process to determine eligibility and priority.

The role requires U.S. citizenship, ability to obtain a FEMA badge, and 100% travel with a valid driver’s license. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and review applicant data to determine eligibility and priorities for assignments, audits for completeness, and PDA information.
  • Schedule regular meetings and track FEMA requests; coordinate document transmittals with FEMA.
  • Review and validate damage details, scopes of work and costs; participate in regular FEMA meetings and communicate determinations.
  • Assist with Determination Memo development and close-out communications to applicants.
  • Coordinate site inspections to validate damages for Public Assistance grants as needed.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel; must be able to obtain FEMA Badge; 100% travel.
