Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Disaster Program Delivery Specialist to support the FEMA Public Assistance program. You will collect applicant data, coordinate communications, and help determine eligibility and priorities for recovery projects.

You will review damages and costs, participate in FEMA meetings, and assist with site inspections. Domestic travel and a valid driver’s license are required, with citizenship and FEMA badge eligibility mandatory.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen and able to obtain FEMA Badge.
• 5 years of in-field experience (2 years with a bachelor’s degree).
• Domestic travel is required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, coordinate and review applicant data to determine eligibility and priority of assignments.
• Schedule meetings and communicate with applicants, track FEMA requests and document transmittals.
• Review and validate damage details, scopes of work and costs; participate in FEMA meetings.
• Coordinate basic to moderately complex site inspections for FEMAPublic Assistance.
• Adhere to background checks and credentialing requirements as applicable.
