Endeavors Inc. seeks a Disaster Human Services Social Worker to participate in Impact Assessment teams, evaluating how disasters affect human service facilities, operations, and access to services.

The role combines social work expertise with coordination of resources and reporting for recovery planning. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Social Work (or related field) and has experience in disaster response, with readiness for travel and deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or closely related field preferred; advanced education desirable.
• Experience in social work, human services, disaster response/recovery, or service-system coordination is preferred.
• Must complete organization and required screening, credentialing, cybersecurity/privacy training, Rules of Behavior, and other standard training before deployment.

Responsabilités

• Deploy as a member of Disaster Human Services Impact Assessment teams and support field assessment activities.
• Assess and document operational impacts that may limit access to human services.
• Apply knowledge of human services delivery to explain how observed disaster conditions affect providers and populations served.
• Coordinate with civil engineers and technical specialists regarding observed facility conditions.
• Assist the team in identifying service gaps, operational barriers, and recovery considerations for affected communities.
• Provide social work, crisis-support, resource navigation, or referral assistance when within scope.
