Job summary

Endeavors is seeking a Disaster Human Services Social Worker to join our Impact Assessment teams nationwide. This seasonal role involves deploying to disaster-impacted sites and coordinating with engineers and partners to assess how events affect access to services.

You should have a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, experience in disaster response or human services, and a commitment to privacy and client confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field is preferred.
• Experience in social work, human services, disaster response, or needs assessment is preferred.
• Must complete all screening, credentialing, cybersecurity training and required training before deployment.

Responsibilities

• Deploy as a member of Disaster Human Services Impact Assessment teams.
• Assess and document operational impacts on access to human services.
• Coordinate with civil engineers and technical specialists regarding observed facility conditions.
• Provide social work, crisis-support, resource navigation, or referral assistance when included in mission scope.
• Protect PII and comply with privacy, confidentiality, cybersecurity, and records-management requirements.
