Centerstone in Tennessee is seeking a part-time Crisis Counselor for a hybrid-remote role. You will provide crisis counseling and resource linkage to individuals affected by natural disasters across Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, and Montgomery Counties.

The position operates under the Team Lead for the Tennessee Recovery Project, with ethics, supervision, and quality assurance emphasized. Grant-funded through February 2027.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; BA/BS preferred.
• Experience in mental health crisis settings is preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Trauma-informed approach valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephonic or in-person crisis screenings and risk assessments.
• Link clients to community resources and referrals.
• Deliver short- and long-term supportive counseling as needed.
• Maintain professional standards and participate in supervision.
