Job summary

Ridgeview Behavioral Health Services in Oak Ridge, TN is seeking a Weekend Mental Health Crisis Counselor to work Saturdays and Sundays, 8am-8pm, with some flexibility on start/end times. The role supports the Mobile Crisis Team and conducts crisis assessments via in-person or telehealth from the main center.

The ideal candidate holds a master’s degree in social work, psychology, or counseling, with LMSW/LPC eligibility and TN driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, psychology, or counseling.
• Valid TN driver's license with a safe driving record.
• LMSW / Temporary LPC or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• New graduates considered.

Responsibilities

• Assess adults in psychiatric emergencies and determine crisis needs.
• Provide crisis intervention and telehealth assessments.
• Link to community resources and pre-screening admissions.
• Travel in Ridgeview’s 5-county area with a Ridgeview car.
• Maintain positive liaison with community agencies.
