Job summary

Career Crunch is seeking a Claims Manager / Estimator to prepare accurate repair estimates using Xactimate after on-site inspections for water, fire, hail, wind, and other disaster-related claims.

You will manage Third-Party Administrator (TPA) losses, follow program guidelines, and advise insurance carriers. The role covers a primary geographic territory with potential cross-territory assignments based on demand.

Qualifications

• Xactimate proficiency is required; certifications preferred.
• Understanding of insurance carrier requirements and TPAs.
• Strong written communication and empathy during high-stress situations.
• Familiarity with claim documentation and software tools.
• Valid driver''s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect sites to prepare repair estimates using Xactimate.
• Review peer estimates and approve supplements.
• Lead project handovers with accounting and project management.
• Explain estimates to insurers and TPAs to secure profitable jobs.
• Handle emergency requests during business hours.
• Log updates in DASH, Xactanalysis, and TPA databases.
• Participate in a 24-hour on-call rotation every 12–14 weeks.
