Job summary

Lone Star College-Kingwood seeks a Coordinator III, Disability Services to manage daily operations, coordinate accommodations, and support students with disabilities. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

  • Oversees daily and some long-term operations of Disability Services and acts as a subject matter expert
  • Supervises, trains and develops department staff; schedules and prioritizes work and activities
  • Provides high level of customer service to Disability Services students and families from first contact through completion
  • Coordinates information processing and support within Disability Services, I-Star and VSAC; conducts intake interviews and determines accommodations
  • Coordinates calendars and schedules; monitors resources like office supplies and equipment
  • Maintains confidentiality of student records and disability information per ADA, Section 504 and Title IX
