Job summary

Lone Star College-Tomball is seeking a Manager, Disability Services to lead the Disability Services Office, oversee staff, and collaborate with advising. This role focuses on assisting students with learning and physical needs and ensuring accommodations comply with ADA standards.

The candidate will supervise staff, develop workshops, advise students and coordinate with faculty to support academic success and accessibility across campus.

Qualifications

• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication and organization skills.
• Sound knowledge of academic and occupational programs, university articulation agreements and career assessment and advisement.
• Student service background and sensitivity to student accommodations for achievement.

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidential records and ensure policies are met.
• Manage campus-wide program for students with learning challenges/disabilities.
• Advise students on accommodation processes under ADA regulations.
• Develop and deliver workshops for students, especially those with learning disabilities.
• Provide consultation to faculty, staff, and administrators.
