TELUS Health is seeking a Specialist of Absence and Disability Management to oversee ADA processes, FMLA/leave management, and disability claims across the U.S. The role requires strong communication skills, robust knowledge of regulatory requirements, and the ability to work in a paperless, online environment.

Ideal candidates will have 5 years of relevant experience, an Associate’s Degree, and may be bilingual in English and Spanish.

Formación

• 5 years of US Leaves and Disability Case Management experience.
• 3 years ADA case management experience.
• Associate’s Degree.
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills.
• Excellent computer skills and ability to work online in a paperless environment.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish would be an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Advise clients on ADA accommodations and manage accommodation claims.
• Process FMLA, military, state leaves and STD claims.
• Handle DOL category claims including recertifications and 2nd/3rd opinions.
• Conduct case assessments with employee, manager and HR by phone or email.
• Document factors supporting return-to-work and plan accordingly.
• Consult LifeWorks resources to confirm decisions on leaves and claims.
• Analyze FMLA medical certifications and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Inform claimants of required documentation and claim status.
• Determine RTW goals and support return-to-work planning.
• Communicate with client representatives about case management issues.
• Attend SOP trainings and team meetings.
