Job summary

America Works of New York Inc. in Chicago is seeking a Ticket to Work Representative to guide clients through the TTW program and employment services.

You will conduct intakes, perform outreach, and provide end-to-end support from job development to placement, while maintaining accurate documentation. The role requires strong communication and people skills, ability to manage a caseload on-site, and coordination with employers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Ability to complete and pass SSA's Suitability Process.
• Experience with individuals with disabilities and/or substance abuse preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Salesforce preferred.
• CWIC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct timely intakes and assessments per program procedures.
• Maintain daily outreach to enroll TTW participants.
• Provide employment support from development to placement.
• Develop and maintain required documentation (IWP, reports, progress updates).
• Assist participants with employment goals, job matching and ongoing support.
• Submit pay stubs promptly for timely reimbursement.
• Build partnerships with employers and workforce stakeholders.
• Use job boards, career fairs, and networking to generate leads.
• Manage a caseload (virtual and onsite), track progress and provide support.
• Guide clients to overcome barriers and achieve sustainable employment.
• Respond to inquiries and ensure timely follow-up.
• Document all activities in the secure system clearly and professionally.
