Prudential Financial is seeking a Team Lead for Short-Term Disability/Absence and Paid Leave Claims to guide a skilled team in delivering accurate benefit payments and outstanding customer service. You will monitor performance, coach staff, and drive improvement initiatives across processes and risk controls.

The role requires strong leadership, deep claims knowledge, and collaboration across stakeholders to support financial wellness for customers and communities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in Group Insurance Operations or claims.
• Experience with STD/Absence/Paid Leave claim management and offsets.

Responsibilities

• Lead team to achieve customer service and claims excellence.
• Ensure accuracy of disability benefits payouts based on offsets and contract provisions.
• Monitor, track and analyze reporting for offset management.
• Develop action plans to improve team and individual performance.
• Build and maintain internal and external customer relationships.
• Provide coaching and development to direct reports.
• Drive continuous process improvement and team engagement.
• Identify successors for key leadership positions.
• Ensure compliance with risk, control and escalation requirements.
