Brookhaven National Laboratory seeks an ISSD Lead Administrator to oversee a distributed team of administrative professionals and serve as primary admin resource to the ALD. You will mentor staff, set expectations, allocate resources, and build strong partnerships with division leadership and Laboratory organizations.

The role requires leadership across a complex portfolio, strong strategic thinking, and proven ability to manage sensitive operations while ensuring compliance with DOE

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related business field or equivalent experience with 7+ years in admin/business operations and formal supervisory experience.
• Proven track record managing multiple administrative professionals and building effective teams.
• Ability to lead administrative operations across a diverse portfolio of organizations.

Responsabilités

• Lead the ISSD administrative organization including supervision, coaching, development and accountability.
• Allocate resources across changing priorities and identify staffing gaps and solutions.
• Develop consistent administrative practices, service standards and knowledge sharing across ISSD.
