Job summary

The Keene Young Mens YMCA is seeking a Director of Out of School Time and Family Engagement to lead high-quality youth programs, supervise staff, and partner with families to strengthen the community.

The role oversees school-age and summer programs, Kids Night Out and family events, ensures safety and licensing compliance, manages budgets, and coordinates with SAU 29 sites. A bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field is preferred, along with demonstrated leadership.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old.
• 3+ years' experience working with youth; 5+ years preferred.
• 3+ years of supervisory responsibilities of 6 or more staff.
• 3+ years' experience managing a program budget; 5+ years preferred.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• A bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and delivery of high-quality programs for school-age children and families.
• Supervise Out of School Time and Camp Wakonda staff; hire, train, and evaluate.
• Develop and manage budgets to meet revenue targets and control expenses.
• Ensure compliance with NH childcare licensing and ADA accommodations.
• Support fundraising, marketing, and community engagement activities.
