Job summary

Granite YMCA in Concord, NH seeks a Director of School Age Childcare to lead and support after-school and no-school-day programs. The role oversees site operations, staff, licensing compliance, and daily administrative duties under the Regional Director.

You will supervise employees and volunteers, coordinate trainings, monitor budgets, ensure quality programming, and strengthen family engagement with community partners.

Qualifications

• NH Child Care Licensing requirements met for a Site Coordinator.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a licensed childcare setting.
• 5+ years of experience working with young children.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of school-age childcare sites and no school day programming.
• Model Y-USA’s Best Practices to ensure high-quality programming.
• Ensure sites meet state licensing guidelines and remain license compliant.
• Supervise staff, provide feedback, and conduct weekly staff meetings.
• Develop staff schedules and onboarding processes.
