Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking a Director, Wealth Management Coaching & Consulting to advance the Modern Wealth Management experience across the Heartland Region. You will partner with branch leaders and wealth managers to drive coaching, development, and strategic consultation to strengthen advisor capabilities and client outcomes.

The role requires 10+ years in financial services, FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses, and a proven track record in sales leadership, consulting, and performance improvement,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses required.
• 10+ years of experience in the financial services industry.
• 7+ years of sales leadership, coaching, consulting, or advisor development experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of wealth management, financial planning, and client engagement strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and develop professionals through structured consulting and performance improvement approaches.
• Deep understanding of brokerage, advisory, and banking products and services.
• Ability to leverage data, metrics, and business insights to identify trends and develop action plans that drive results.
• Strong business judgment with the ability to prioritize competing opportunities and effectively manage risk.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop wealth management professionals through structured programs.
• Evaluate performance trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Partner with branch leaders to drive growth and client engagement.
• Travel ~50% to conduct in-person coaching and relationship-building.
