Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking a Director of Wealth Management Coaching & Consulting to advance the Modern Wealth Management experience across the Heartland Region. You will partner with branch leaders and wealth management professionals to strengthen advisor development, client engagement, and growth initiatives.

The role requires deep wealth-management expertise, data-driven decision making, and the ability to implement scalable coaching programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses required.
10+ years of experience in the financial services industry.
7+ years of sales leadership, coaching, consulting, or advisor development experience.
Comprehensive knowledge of wealth management, financial planning, and client engagement strategies.
Demonstrated ability to coach and develop professionals through structured consulting and performance improvement approaches.

Responsibilities

Drive consultant effectiveness, enhance client engagement, and support business growth through coaching, development, and strategic consultation.
Evaluate performance trends, identify opportunities, and implement actionable strategies to improve advisor capabilities, client outcomes, retention, and market share.
Collaborate with branch leaders and regional partners to balance strategic priorities, manage risk, and drive continuous improvement.
Travel approximately 50% for in-person coaching and relationship-building across the Heartland Region.
