We are hiring a Director/VP of Sales to focus on securing new business contracts with insurance carriers in the U.S. and Canada, as well as large claims companies. Reporting to the CEO, you will engage with prospects, align our solutions with their business drivers, and manage sales cycles to close deals. You will aim to meet aggressive revenue targets and expand our market share in InsurTech. The role involves high-level engagement with prospective and current clients, envisioning new solutions, and translating these into successful relationships. Successful closers are encouraged to apply.

Final candidates will need to provide 2-3+ years of verifiable sales track record with annual quotas and quarterly attainment data.

Responsibilities
  • Win new business among top-tier P&C carriers and upsell into existing accounts
  • Sell into large adjusting, mitigation, and claims services companies
  • Act as the sales expert and business fiduciary, supporting senior leadership on design, selling success, and future product concepts
  • Build and leverage relationships with key decision makers, developing insights into their future strategies
  • Secure and lead face-to-face meetings with C-level executives in target markets
  • Develop and grow a sales pipeline
  • Maintain accurate account and sales activity data in Salesforce
  • Manage the sales process from initial assignment to close using Salesforce CRM
  • Accurately forecast new bookings
  • Develop strategies for acquiring new accounts
  • Perform other related duties as required
  • Collaborate with marketing on lead generation campaigns
  • Work with the executive team on events and outreach
  • Execute sales strategies and outreach campaigns to secure contracts
  • Maintain thought leadership on sales strategies and industry trends
Requirements
  • 5-7+ years of sales experience selling software and services to the property insurance industry
  • Achieved $1M+ quotas annually in InsurTech software licenses and services
  • Solid knowledge of property claims/underwriting workflows and operations
  • Experience selling to executive levels, including Chief Claims Officers
  • Experience working in small, agile tech companies
  • Proficient in Salesforce for managing sales activities
  • Adaptability to changing environments, creative and strategic thinking
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
  • Qualities: curiosity, empathy, integrity, high EQ, self-starter, proactive, positive attitude
