Job summary

Syneos Health seeks a Director of Epidemiology Pipeline (TA - Virology) to provide scientific leadership across virology clinical trials and post-marketing safety commitments. You will coordinate with RWLP management, BD, and operations to develop proposals and defend bids, oversee study design and statistical plans, and ensure timelines and budgets are met.

You will lead authorship of abstracts, manuscripts and presentations, build organizational capacity, and foster sponsor relationships while

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in epidemiology, statistics, or public health.
• Deep knowledge of study designs including post-marketing and late-phase trials.
• Proficiency with SAS, R, or Python for analysis and reporting.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific oversight for virology trials and safety commitments.
• Collaborate with RWLP management, BD, and operations to develop proposals and bid defenses.
• Lead development of protocols, SAPs, CRFs, and study reports.
• Mentor teams and present abstracts/manuscripts to sponsors and journals.
• Advance organizational capacity and update SOPs for non-traditional site management.
