Job summary

Exoben Inc. in the United States is seeking a Director, Utility Storage Projects to lead Exoben’s large-scale energy storage deployments.

You will oversee planning, execution and delivery from development through operation, coordinating engineering, grid solutions and operations to ensure on-time, on-budget performance.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong project management, regulatory awareness and clear communication to utilities, contractors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management or a related field.
• Master’s degree is an advantage. A PhD is preferred.
• 10 to 15 years of experience in large-scale energy, infrastructure or utility projects.
• Strong understanding of energy storage systems and grid integration.
• Experience managing projects from planning to full deployment.
• Understand regulatory, operational and technical challenges in utility-scale systems.
• Organized, practical and focused on results.
• Strong leadership with clear communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of utility-scale energy storage projects.
• Oversee deployment of large ExoGrid™ systems powered by LithioX™ and SodioX™ batteries.
• Manage project timelines, budgets and overall delivery performance.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure system designs are ready for deployment.
• Work with grid and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with standards and requirements.
• Manage relationships with utilities, contractors and external partners.
• Oversee site development, installation and commissioning activities.
• Ensure systems meet performance, safety and reliability targets after deployment.
• Monitor project progress and resolve issues quickly.
• Support expansion into new markets by adapting projects to local conditions.
• Build and lead a strong project execution team.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management or a related field

Master’s degree is an advantage

PhD is preferred
