Job summary

Exoben Inc. in the United States is seeking a Director, Utility Storage Projects to lead Exoben’s large-scale energy storage deployments.

Qualifications

  • 10 to 15 years of experience in large-scale energy, infrastructure or utility projects.
  • Strong understanding of energy storage systems and grid integration.
  • Experience managing projects from planning to full deployment.
  • Understand regulatory, operational and technical challenges in utility-scale systems.
  • Organized, practical and focused on results.
  • Strong leadership with clear communication skills.

  • Manage relationships with utilities, contractors and external partners.
  • Oversee site development, installation and commissioning activities.
  • Ensure systems meet performance, safety and reliability targets after deployment.
  • Monitor project progress and resolve issues quickly.
  • Support expansion into new markets by adapting projects to local conditions.
  • Build and lead a strong project execution team.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management or a related field
Master’s degree is an advantage
PhD is preferred

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and execution-focused Director, Utility Storage Projects to lead Exoben’s large-scale energy storage projects.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, managing and delivering utility-scale storage systems from early development to full operation.

You will oversee project execution, coordinate across teams and ensure systems are delivered on time, within budget and at high quality.

You will work closely with engineering, grid solutions and operations teams to ensure projects are practical and perform well in real-world conditions.

This role requires strong project leadership and the ability to manage complex infrastructure projects.
