Fayetteville State University’s Office of College Access Programs seeks a Director of Upward Bound Math and Science to oversee day-to-day program operations and coordinate services to improve students’ math and science skills and readiness for postsecondary education.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• 3–5 years of administrative or program management experience in education.
• Strong knowledge of TRIO regulations, EDGAR, and federal grant requirements.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the TRIO Upward Bound Math & Science Program.
• Work with secondary school students to improve academic preparation and provide sessions to prepare for postsecondary education.
• Develop and implement support services to strengthen math and science skills and increase high school graduation, college application and enrollment.
