Job summary

University of Wisconsin-Green Bay seeks a Director for Upward Bound Programs to provide strategic direction and leadership for pre-college initiatives, while overseeing staff and budgets. The role partners with campus leadership to expand access and equity in higher education for K-12 students.

The director will supervise multiple staff, manage program operations, and ensure compliance with grant requirements, including TRiO programs, with hybrid work options and potential travel to other UW

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education, Counseling or a related field at time of application.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in K-12 schools or other educational organizations.
• Extensive knowledge and experience working with educational equity programs serving diverse student populations.

Responsibilities

• Directs strategic planning initiatives and establishes pre-college program objectives.
• Supervises at least 2.0 FTE employees.
• Develops and oversees the program budget.
• Plans and implements hybrid 6-week summer program.
