Job summary

Serco is hiring for a Director, Business Operations within the Undersea Warfare Enterprise. The role focuses on cradle-to-grave acquisition, lifecycle sustainment, and integrating breakthrough commercial technologies for advanced undersea platforms.

The candidate will lead strategic contracting, program performance assessments, and stakeholder engagement with senior government and industry partners, traveling as needed to support mission success.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in complex government/defense programs.
• Experience managing large-scale programs, contracts, or initiatives.
• Strong strategic planning and risk management capabilities.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
• Experience interfacing with senior government, military, industry, and executives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor to senior government and industry stakeholders on program execution and strategic priorities.
• Support senior-level customer engagement and maintain relationships across the Enterprise.
• Conduct independent assessments of program performance, schedule, and acquisition outcomes.
• Identify risks and opportunities and provide actionable leadership recommendations.
• Evaluate performance measures and governance to support informed decisions.
• Support development and evaluation of processes, governance, and performance metrics.
• Lead cross-functional teams to achieve program and business objectives.
• Promote collaboration across government, industry, and internal teams.
