Job summary

Elanco in the United States is seeking a Director, TSMS to oversee technical manufacturing and process performance for the Kansas monoclonal antibody facility. You will lead technical strategy and a multidisciplinary team.

You will drive process validation, continuous improvement, and knowledge transfer across functions, ensuring regulatory compliance and robust product supply for both farm animals and pets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biomanufacturing related field.
• 10+ years of related working experience.
• 5+ years in technical management position.
• 5+ years in (bio)pharmaceutical formulation, process development, or manufacturing technology.

Responsibilities

• Ensure technical competencies/knowledge for monoclonal antibody processes, materials, sterile processes, and packaging.
• Coach TSMS associates for routine operational support and problem solving.
• Ensure adherence to cGMP and regulatory requirements; protect employees and environment.
• Maintain mAb processes in control with appropriate strategies to meet quality standards.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to boost cycle time, productivity, and capacity.
• In-transfer new mAb products with cross-functional teams and ensure on-time execution.
• Lead root cause investigations and knowledge transfer within site and TRD.
• Develop KPIs for CPP/CQA trending and quality data reporting.
