Job summary

Elanco Tiergesundheit AG in Elwood, Kansas seeks a TSMS Scientist to provide technical and operational support for commercial and pilot lab operations at the monoclonal antibody manufacturing facility. This role requires SME expertise in mAb processes and involvement in tech transfer, scale‑up, validation, and continuous improvement.

You will troubleshoot upstream/downstream biologics processes, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and ensure processes are in control using data analysis

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's in Bio/Pharmaceutical Technology, Microbiology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 3+ years in Biotech/Pharmaceutical industry.
• Hands-on experience with chromatography (Protein A or affinity), bioreactor operation, and tangential flow filtration (TFF).

Responsibilities

• Support execution and troubleshooting of upstream/downstream manufacturing for biologics.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Development, and Quality on studies, validation, and tech transfer.
• Provide on-floor support during manufacturing campaigns and investigations.
• Use data analysis tools to improve process understanding and control.
• Author and review technical documents (batch records, SOPs, risk assessments).
• Assist in implementing changes through change control systems.
