Job summary

Elanco is seeking a Director of Technical Services Manufacturing Science in Elwood, KS to oversee the technical aspects of mAb manufacturing. You will sustain process control strategies, drive improvements, and ensure product stewardship across units in collaboration with Quality, Engineering, IT and Operations.

You will lead a team, mentor staff, and ensure training, safety, and regulatory compliance while aligning with Elanco quality standards and business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biomanufacturing related discipline.
• A minimum of 10 years of related working experience.
• 5+ years of technical management experience.
• 5+ years in (bio)pharmaceutical formulation, process development, or manufacturing technology.
• Ability to lead and develop a team.
• Fundamental understanding of (bio)pharmaceutical analytical testing.
• Understanding of Q culture, cGMP standards, and regulatory regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for monoclonal antibody manufacturing at the Elwood, KS facility.
• Drive continuous improvement to cycle time, productivity, and process robustness.
• Ensure adherence to cGMP, SOPs and regulatory requirements across units.
• Lead cross-functional teams on root cause investigations and transfers.
• Develop and manage TSMS budgets and talent development.
