Job summary

Elanco is seeking a Director, TSMS to oversee all technical aspects of product and process performance at the Elwood monoclonal antibody manufacturing facility. You will ensure robust, validated processes, lead cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement in biopharmaceutical operations.

The role requires a strong background in cGMP, manufacturing technology, and team leadership, with focus on training, process optimization, and regulatory compliance across units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biomanufacturing related discipline.
• 10 years of related working experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in technical management position.
• 5+ years’ experience in (bio)pharmaceutical formulation, process development, or manufacturing technology.

Responsibilities

• Ensure site monoclonal antibody processes, raw materials, sterile processes, and primary packaging components are in place.
• Coaching TSMS associates to ensure routine operational support and problem solving.
• Ensure adherence to cGMP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and improve product control strategies to meet quality standards and supply continuity.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to impact cycle time, productivity, and capacity.
• In-transfer new mAb products with cross-functional teams and ensure proper control strategies.
