Job summary

Eversource Energy in the Northeastern service territory seeks a senior leader to manage the Special Studies team within Transmission System Planning. You will steer scenario-based analyses, grid resiliency, and regulatory interactions across CT/MA/NH, delivering strategic plans and budget oversight.

You will lead cross-functional engineering teams, present technical positions, and guide major projects through ISO-NE, NEPOOL, and NE regulators to support reliable, economical transmission growth.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge and experience in electric transmission planning, system analysis and modeling, budgeting, and cross-functional communication.
• Demonstrated leadership in strategic planning and execution.
• Experience with regulatory interactions and project economics.

Responsibilities

• Manage special studies for electric transmission planning and future grid scenarios.
• Present technical positions and comments for regulatory proceedings.
• Oversee projects with significant economic impact on the transmission system.
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders including ISO-NE and NEPOOL/ RTO committees.
