Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a senior leader for Transmission Planning to oversee compliance, long‑term planning, and regulatory interactions across the three‑state service area. You will guide technical solutions, coordinate with ISO‑NE/NPCC, and drive strategic projects from concept to approval.

The role requires extensive experience in electric power systems, NERC standards, and regulatory processes, with strong leadership and staff development capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required; advanced degree preferred.
• 10 years experience in transmission system planning or related field.
• Professional Engineer’s License preferred.
• Ability to lead regulatory filings and complex engineering problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Manage compliance with state, regional and NERC standards for transmission planning.
• Oversee modeling and analysis of transmission planning tools and powerflow models.
• Provide regulatory testimony and coordinate with ISO-NE/NPCC and stakeholders.
