Job summary

HNTB is seeking a senior leader to direct and supervise a large toll-technology group, coordinating priorities, staffing and staff assignments across multiple projects nationwide. You will oversee planning, development and maintenance of technical programs, ensuring high-quality service and productive staff utilization.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with substantial supervisory experience (or equivalent), plus extensive tolling industry relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of practical experience including 4 years of supervisory experience
• In lieu of degree: 16 years of relevant experience
• Master’s degree in relevant field (preferred)
• 15 years practical experience (preferred)
• 6 years supervisory experience (preferred)
• Extensive history of supporting tolling agencies (preferred)
• Strong relationships in the toll technology industry (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and operational supervision to a large group across two+ disciplines
• Ensure technical, administrative, direct labor and schedule targets are met for the group
• Manage performance, growth and development of the group; set priorities and staffing
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to generate new work
• Set goals, assess performance and provide ongoing feedback; lead with client needs
• Recruit, hire, develop and retain staff; plan reporting and compensation reviews
• Lead a group of 25–40+ employees and oversee related duties
