Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a visionary and execution-driven Director of TeraWave Ground Infrastructure to lead end-to-end design, deployment, and scaling of terrestrial and ground networking for our satellite program. You will own the physical and logical fabric linking our constellation to the internet, spanning data centers, PoPs, and SatOps facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• 12+ years designing large-scale network infrastructure.
• Expert in BGP, OSPF, IS-IS and IP transit.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical strategy for the TeraWave IP/MPLS backbone.
• Architect routing and topology for global PoPs and SatOps facilities.
• Oversee hardware rack design, ToR switching, and cabling integration.
• Negotiate IP transit, dark fiber leases, and peering arrangements.
• Manage multi-disciplinary global engineering teams and automation.
