Blue Origin's TeraWave Operations is building a first-of-its-kind satellite connectivity manufacturing capability. We seek a Sr.

Director of TeraWave Site Launch Operations to lead a tiger team, delivering facility readiness, infrastructure, and production go-live for rapid ramp to rate production. You will partner with engineering, supply chain, quality, and operations leadership to ensure the site is fully equipped, scalable, and ready for a high‑impact, high‑visibility program.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in manufacturing, site operations, or industrial engineering.
• 至少 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of standing up complex manufacturing or production facilities from the ground up and launching them on time.
• Experience defining facility and infrastructure requirements across test equipment, tooling, power, and production utilities.
• Exceptional ability to operate in ambiguity and make sound decisions in a fast-moving, first-of-its-kind program.
• Experience partnering across engineering, supply chain, quality, and operations at a senior level.

Responsibilities

• Lead the TeraWave site launch team, driving milestones and alignment.
• Own end-to-end site launch from planning to production go-live and ramp.
• Define facility and operational requirements including test equipment, tooling, power, and resources.
• Partner with engineering to ensure site capabilities support production needs from day one.
• Drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, supply chain, quality, and operations.
• Identify and resolve gaps early, anticipate risks, and make timely decisions in a fast-moving environment.
• Define and track site launch metrics and report progress to senior leadership.
• Build and develop a high-performing tiger team capable of rapid execution.
• Adapt plans as the program evolves while maintaining readiness in a unique environment.
• Collaborate with peer site leaders to standardize processes and learnings.
