Job summary

Atlas Energy Solutions is seeking a Director of Technical Training & Qualifications to build and lead a COE across Power, Sand, and Logistics. You will establish standards, tools, and governance to develop a qualified workforce and partner with operations, safety, and engineering to translate critical work into scalable training.

You will drive onboarding pathways, vendor decisions, and measurement of qualification outcomes to ensure readiness for current operations and future growth.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of adult learning and instructional design.
• Experience establishing competency-based training and qualification pathways.
• Experience with LMS and learning technologies.
• Excellent program management and process development skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, stand up, and lead an enterprise COE for Technical Training & Qualifications across Power, Sand, and Logistics.
• Establish standards, tools, and processes for training and qualifications.
• Build scalable programs aligned to business growth and workforce needs.
• Develop role-based skills matrices and qualification pathways.
• Establish standards for assessment, certification, and requalification.
• Create visibility into training and qualification status and gaps.
• Partner with SMEs to translate SOPs into training requirements.
• Create onboarding pathways from hire to qualified performance.
• Identify internally vs external program development needs.
• Identify capability gaps and build cross-training strategies.
• Lead Program Managers and manage the enterprise roadmap.
• Partner on LMS, simulation, AI, and scalable training solutions.
• Measure time to qualification, coverage, and readiness.
