Job summary

Atlas Energy Solutions in Austin seeks a Director of Technical Training & Qualifications to build and lead the enterprise COE for Power, Sand, and Logistics. You will establish standards, governance, and tools to consistently develop and qualify Atlas’s technical workforce.

Reporting to the VP of HR, you will partner with Operations, Engineering, Safety, and Talent Management to translate critical work into scalable training programs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in technical training or workforce development.
• Experience building or transforming a technical training/qualification function.
• Experience with competency-based training, skills matrices, and qualification pathways.
• Energy, power generation, industrial operations, or related field experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of adult learning and instructional design.
• Experience with LMS and learning technologies.
• Excellent program management and process development skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the Technical Training & Qualifications COE across Power, Sand, and Logistics.
• Establish standards, tools, and governance for technical training and qualifications.
• Develop scalable programs for growth, new facilities, and evolving tech needs.
• Create skills matrices and qualification pathways for critical roles.
• Lead programs, measure time to qualification and workforce readiness.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Safety, and HR to translate SOPs into training.
