Job summary

CCBC seeks a leader to direct technical training and IT career programs, aligning with the division's strategic vision. The role includes open enrollment, contract training development, and partnership building with colleges and industry.

Responsibilities cover budgeting, staffing, program evaluation, and cross-department collaboration to deliver high-quality instruction and student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or bachelor’s with 7+ years in workforce development.
• 5 years’ experience developing workforce programs; 3 years in management.
• Grant/contract writing and management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of apprenticeship/work-based learning models preferred.
• Experience with Federal, State, and County workforce systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and evaluation of assigned staff.
• Develop and manage unit budget college-wide as required.
• Recruit, supervise, advise, and evaluate staff.
• Set goals for operations aligned with CCBC’s mission.
• Ensure policy compliance and monitor requirements.
• Oversee unit projects and initiatives.
• Promote CCBC at events, groups, and industry associations.
• Lead business development for contract training partnerships.
• Prepare and report on various subjects; analyze program data.
