Job summary

BMCC, part of The City University of New York (CUNY), seeks a Continuing Education Manager to lead IT training programs within CEWD. The role reports to the Director of CEWD and is responsible for enrollment targets, revenue goals, and grant outcomes, while coordinating with faculty, industry partners, and outside organizations.

The Manager guides curriculum, student success systems, and program development, ensuring compliance with CUNY and funder requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and six years’ related experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience managing grant-funded programs and budgets.
• Ability to lead multi-functional teams and coordinate with external partners.
• Experience working with adult learners and workforce development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for IT training programs and apprenticeships.
• Meet enrollment targets, revenue goals, and grant outcomes.
• Oversee academic operations including registration and records.
• Collaborate with BMCC partners, faculty, industry stakeholders.
• Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead recruitment, outreach, and program marketing strategies.
• Manage budgets, grants, and vendor relations.
